Obviously if this poll is right it represents a significant break in the race in New Hampshire. The table below shows the averages that do not include this poll.

This might be an outlier. Or it may be a sign that Clinton is collapsing in NH. Hillary continues to lead in this poll on the question of right experience, but her margin on electability has declined to a net plus 14 (a significant decline) and only 18% view her as honest and trustworthy.

It is noteworthy that this is the second poll showing Edwards at 17 as well.

Candidate Nov Average Oct Average change Oct
Lead (deficit)
Nov

Change in Lead
Clinton 35.4 41 -5.6 19.25 12.57 -6.67
Obama 22.86 21.75 1.67 -19.25 -12.57 6.67
Edwards 14 12.5 1.5 -28.5 -21.24 +7.07
Richardson 8.5 6.5 2 -34.5 -26.93 7.57

I think you have your Edwards (none / 0)

lead/deficit numbers transposed.

Edwards is probably within striking distance here--when he wins Iowa, he can shoot to the top!

The second poll in a couple days showing an Edwards bump.  Apparantly his mail and TV ad campaign is doing something right.  Or the Obama-Clinton sniping match is making people rethink Edwards.

Although I think all in the all, the Clinton crisis in NH was downer for their campaign since it stamped on thier message re Obama's health care.

However all these great polls released today --"hillary crashing, sliding, trending down--" didn't get any play.

That was unfortunate because she is getting close to a free fall.

Unfortunate? (none / 0)

What was unfortunate was four people held hostge by a lunatic.  Shame on you.

And Hillary will be the next president. The only freefall is in your moral compass which looked at this hostage situation from a political standpoint.

Re: Unfortunate? (none / 0)

oh cry me a fucking river. you want to talk moral compass, bill clinton took a pass on helping rwanda because it didn't do anything to boost his political standing to do so.

Edwards is at 17% in two new NH polls. I'll take that. It's looking better and better for the Edwards campaign, as we get closer to the end.

Agreed on Edwards. Some very good news as he rebounds in Iowa and starts to move up in NH and SC. I have been very pleased with this week.

To all the Clinton supporters, I listened to that on the radio and I am very glad that everyone made it out of there OK.
